The combination between furniture and pillows that are colored in same color is not considered always to be a suitable choice. Here's an example of white pillows that are placed on white sofa and they look really great in a combination:

Actually, the white pillows are not only colored in white, there are black patterns on them which is also a factor for the great combination. If these pillows were simply colored in white, they probably wouldn't look as beautiful as they look now.
We cannot miss the black accessories behind the sofa. They are colored in the same color as the pattern of the pillows.
The above photo is a great example, how using of only two colors (black and white), we can create a great interior decoration in our homes.
